Our Story
VaultRent was built by Visualzero, a team of security experts who understand the critical importance of protecting sensitive property and tenant data. With years of experience in cybersecurity and software development, we recognized a gap in the market for property management software that prioritizes both functionality and security.
Founded on the principle that property managers deserve better tools, we set out to create a platform that combines cutting-edge AI technology with bank-level security. Our team has worked tirelessly to develop a solution that not only meets the day-to-day needs of property managers but exceeds the highest standards for data protection and privacy.
Today, VaultRent focuses on serving Ontario landlords and small property managers, with a roadmap to expand to other regions over time. We help them manage their properties with confidence, knowing their data is secure and their operations are optimized.
Why We Built This
VaultRent was born from firsthand experience managing rental properties in Ontario. As landlords ourselves, we lived through the pain points: endless spreadsheets, manually tracking late rent payments, struggling to stay compliant with RTA regulations, and worrying about document organization for potential LTB hearings.
We recognized a critical gap in the market—most property management software was either too generic, lacked Ontario-specific compliance features, or didn't prioritize security the way we needed. As cybersecurity professionals, we knew that handling tenant data required bank-level protection, not an afterthought.
So we built VaultRent to solve our own problems first. A tool that would keep track of N4 and L1 deadlines, maintain an audit trail for the LTB, automate rent reminders, and secure sensitive information with enterprise-grade encryption. Once we had a solution that worked for us, we knew other Ontario landlords and small property managers would benefit too.
